The Region of Waterloo is a proud supporter of the Smart About Salt program and is offering these additional benefits to organizations and individuals located in Waterloo Region:

1.       Free CURB THE SALT posters

Order printed copies of the CURB THE SALT poster to display in public areas and help spread the word about wearing sturdy footwear during the winter months.

2.       Free weather reports emailed daily

Smart About Salt Certified Contractors located in Waterloo Region and in good standing with the Smart About Salt Council are eligible to receive free weather reports. The reports are issued four times daily (2am, 9am, 1pm, and 9pm) and are available for three geographic areas.  Reports are limited to one email address per organization.  Sample weather report (PDF)

• North covering Wellesley and Woolwich Townships
  
• Central covering Kitchener, Waterloo, and Wilmot Township
  
• South covering Cambridge and North Dumfries Township
